Workshop No. 2. Occupational Health and Safety


The second workshop of the SUSBIZ Kenya Programme was held at Waajiri House, Federation of Kenya Employers from Tuesday January 24th to Thursday January 26th 2012. The theme of the workshop was occupational health and safety with a key focus on both strategic considerations to the business case for OHS, societal and business consequences of poor OHS performance as well as hands-on practical approaches to OHS management and implementation.

Training activities were conducted by the SUSBIZ Team and local OHS professionals and were based on group discussions and exercises, presentations, film clips and practical inspiration from the local best practice company Bamburi Cement.
